HOLEISM
(2025)

Text based work on holes.

“Holeism is a focus on absence and a devotion to the infinite potential of emptiness. The holes are the sacred spaces where absence becomes presence. The hole's physical existence is secondary. Your eye traces the edges of the opening and creates a border; your brain converts this information into an image to understand it. You will not see further until you let yourself. The moment you truly comprehend the essence of your desire, the portal reveals itself. It is a portal that holds the possibility for growth, change, and true meaning—the infinite potential of all that lies within it, containing both nothing and all at once. The portal is only accessible when you understand what you seek, for it is not the act of entering that unlocks the way, but the clarity of your intent.

Allowing yourself to enter and be swallowed by the void will help you gain a higher level of understanding and see the space of everything. This will awaken you. Only when you release the need to fill the emptiness with certainty can you experience the higher truth. Do not see these holes as mistakes; they are a necessary component of the creation of all that exists. They are the beginning of all and nothing.

A hole in the ground is a wound, but it is also a birthplace, a symbol of destruction and creation. It is a reflection of your inner world—the void within that you carry. The hole shapes you, whether you spend your life filling it or avoiding its presence. It is in the recognition of the void that you begin to heal. Acknowledging this void within yourself is the first step toward understanding who you truly are. The hole is not the absence of life, it is the space through which life flows.

You are born of a hole, a gap in time. Just as the universe began from an infinitely small point of nothingness, so too do we come from the void, and to the void, we will return. But to return does not mean to end. The void does not signify an end; it signifies a return to the source of all things. In this place, beyond duality, the hole becomes a mirror. It reflects both who you were and who you are becoming. The hole asks nothing from you but that you approach it with reverence and humility.

In embracing the hole, you begin to transcend your need for completeness, and in that transcendence, you can take your first steps.”
